I inherited my son's Ranger project since he went in the Army. It is a 1987 Ranger 4X4 longbed. I need help or advice on the front cross member. The previous owner had cut the cross member so he could drop the oil pan (I know this is a bad situation). He had the piece he cut out welded back in but it wasn't done properly. Do they make a new cross member I could bolt in? How do I go about fixing this problem? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I am totally new to the 4X4 scene but would like to trick this Ranger out since it was my son's.
