I am going to get some new tires soon, I want to upgrade from the stock tires and get something that would perform better off road. I need some suggestions on which tire to pick. I was originally leaning towards the BFGoodrich Mud Terrains, but I have found that those tires don't perform very well on hard packed dirt. I love the BF Goodrich Baja T/A's but they are way to expensive (around $400ea.).. I am looking for a tire that performs very well on hard pack dirt. Alrite so what do you guys suggest

I drive:
50% On Road
40% Hard Packed
5% Sand
3% Snow
2% Mud

Tire Size:
285/75/16

Have you looked into Cooper? I have a set of Discoverer ST's on my Chevy that have incredible traction in rain and snow, and are wearing really well.

I'm not at all impressed by the Pro-Comp tires on my Dodge.

Bridgestone Dueler AT or BFG AT KO for hard packed dirt, daily driver, etc mild to medium wheeling. My Bridgestones were alot better than my BFGs for most use.
