So I want a spray on bed liner, but I hate the cost of the professional ones, so I was thinkin of doing a DIY roll on liner made by herculiner, has anybody used this before? or anybody know how it works and how it holds up???

i dont know my self, but i was wondering too. i hear its better to spray on yourself, just thin it and use an undercoat gun, you can get one online for about $15

Yea I was hinkin about that too, I have everything to do it (spray on or roll on) but dont you think if you thin the liner down for spay on, it would compromise the durablilty or anything??

i think it is supposed to make it more durable to cracking and pealing. and stick better and go on thicker too.

Everything you all have said is true. i have a herc bedliner in my ranger. Mine did not chip up too bad it did a little bit. I have a gal and a quart of herc on mine standard size bed. i also have on ther 2 quarts of duplicolor bedliner is the same thing. So if you have the frre time i say DIY. the thing to remember is it will not be as thick as a spray in unless you do lots of coats. good luck
