im kinda new to this i was wondering if anyone could tell me how to find out what axles i have in my 88 2.9l ranger? im thinking about doing a solid front axle swap but would like to know what i have stock.

youve probably got a 7.5" rear and a d28 front. theres a chance youve got an 8.8 rear but its bery small. as for gears, check the tag on the axle or check the door tag. then go to the tech library to find out what it means.
