83 Ford Ranger Lift Kits..

Hello Im new to this site and I apologize ahead if this question has been asked before..You can tell by the title that I do own an 83 Ranger and looking to have a lift kit and bigger tires..Unfortunately this is all new to me and i was wondering if all i need is the lift kit or is there anything else in additon to the kit..Im looking to go with 2 or 3 inch lift what are the max size tires I could go with..Ive read 30's and 31's would fit with no tire rubbing..It is an automatic and is 4WD...thanks in advance for any suggestions

james duff sale a nice 3" lift and if you wanted it bigger later on then you can add to it, i would say tires 31" to 32" go to james duff.com and look at what they got.

another question...am I looking to do a body and suspension lift?? what would be the difference?

the body lifts just the body of the truck thats it, and you can put a bigger tire on,but the susp.. stays the same, you wont get any more flex with a body lift. a susp...lift lifts the whole truck up , you get alot more flex out of it and you can run bigger tires, and its safe, i wouldent do a boddy lift. go with a 4'' or 6'' suspsion lift you will get alot more out of your truck.

but its gonna cost a bunch more
