Pitman arms the same?

Does anybody know if the Ranger pitman arms are the same as the 78-79 FS Broncos? I've been checking part numbers and the 80-96 Broncos use the same arm as the Ranger. Or maybe somebody know if the 78-79 is the same as the 80-96, as that would answer my question. I have access to an arm for a 78-79, and I want it.

I know that mine came in a box from dick cepek that said it would fit ALL f-series and broncos, I can't say for sure, but that is what the box said.

Yeah I think I might try it anyway...I'm thinking it'll fit

It's looking like it will fit. I took the nut off, and tried to get the arm off, but no luck. I compared them though and they look the same. I'll probably just end up buying another though since my friend wants the $86 he paid for it. :annoyed:
