Would a 1998 Ranger hood fit a 1997?

Going off memory recollection, the only difference is the front hood line at the grill like you mention. The width and cowl I believe are the same.
One thing about the '98 hood, it's probably 1/3 the weight (aluminum).

Ive got a question about hoods too. How do you ever get a hood to line up properly after its been knocked off center?!!! Ive messed with the brackets on both sides so many times that im glad by the time im done f-ing with it, it still closes. It was rolled on the drivers side and im guessing that the fender made it off center but there is no damage to the hood and the brackets look fine. Its to tight near the windshield and it hangs about a 1/4 inch over towards the driver side near the windshield.
