Clutch job on '96 4.0 vrs '89 3.0 Harder? Easier? the same?

Had to drop the trans about 5 times in my '89 3.0. It was kind of a Pain getting to the top two bolts and had to unbolt the exhaust in order to lower the engine so the trans would clear the fire wall. Well my '96 4.0 needs a slave ......is this job going to be the same or harder/easier?

The '96 is a little harder but, pretty much the same thing.

Probably, my son has gone thru so many Rangers I get the years mixed up, I do know it was a 3.0 and leaked oil like a sieve, and was a pain to pull the trans. I was hoping there might be a little more room to work in the 96 (fat chance hea?)
 
Well, there is a little more room, just not enough to make the job any easier...
 
I know when I did the slave cylinder on my '96, I really wished I hadn't welded the exhaust on instead of bolting it up. If you can drop the exhaust line, it'd make the job alot easier. Besides that, its still going to be a pain, no matter how you slice it.

one reason i love bodylifts, makes a clutch a hour job on a ranger LOL
