7.18.12:
i cleaned the carpet the other day. i didnt get an after pic, but the whole carpet looks as grey as the ring around the tranny hump hole. besides a few sun fades and rust color around a few of the seat bolt holes

this was before:

cleaned:

7.21.12:
clear corners are done. they even sent me amber bulbs with the lights

8.15.12:
double visors

headliner

ohc

9.1.12:
replacing my filler neck today. its got common cracking on the rubber. i love having a crane, i even used it to pick up the tool box without taking everything out lol :)

here you can see the dryrot cracks in it. so when its filled up it leaks out like 10oz of gas. and why i smell gas while driving prob cause it sloshes out and leaks. no more leaking or gas smell now :)

no one likes my truck? :( lol

well i found a 94 4dr exploder at the junkyard today with the same seats my ranger has. except buckets. so i grabbed the drivers seat and swapped the tracks. note swapping tracks is not necessary between the two trucks, BUT, the tracks were broken on the exploder so i kinda had it. but it wouldve bolted in otherwise.

now the question is: full length 2nd gen exploder console. or short 1st gen exploder console, leaving me with 4 cup holders? lol

I say go with the full length. IIRC it'll still have 4 cup holders, the other two will be in the in the back of the console and fold down when needed.

im working on it. haha. i already put leds in the stock dome light and ohc. the ones in the ohc im not happy with, they have a single aimed sideways led. im gonna try some led boards hot glued in there next time

10.3.12
360* 194 and 9 led directional 39mm festoon in the dome light. 3175 festoon in the ohc. all 'cool white'

this was taken with a real camera, so its a little better

10.7.12
painted some trim. still need to do the bumper valance. and mothers back-to-black on my window rubber

thanks guys!

10.9.12
i had to replace my battery and the terminals. battery started going flaky saturday, fluctuating voltmeter and had to be jumped. drove fine until monday going to lunch. died at walmart. refused to be jumped, went home and stole my other trucks battery(it dont need it atm anyway) and it started right up!
but the terminals were all screwy. pos side was corroded to hell. neg side looked fine until i spliced on a new terminal.. plug the terminal was buggered up and the nut froze and broke off so it was forever loose.
so now all clean and prudy. should take care of my problems

Out of curiosity, how do you attach the OHC to the Ranger headliner?

The ohc bolts to a bracket, and the bracket bolts to the roof support ridge. Truck looks good so far...

kingoverance, in good time i will. between my exploder and rebuilding the 4.0 in it itll be a slow process. but im open to suggestions on how to atleast level the rear to match the front when i put in the disc 8.8soon.

twanksta, as rangersvt said theres a bracket. i pushed the ohc against the headliner to make an outiline. then cut the hole as needed to mount it.
after i took the headliner out and mounted the bracket:
