i recently started having trouble with my 2000 ford ranger it isnt accelerating properly, idling erratically, and tries to die on my from time to time ive done a tune up replaced my filters, oil, plugs, O2 sensors the only thing else coming to mind is the eec or egr valves but would like a 2nd opinion

Could be the MAF, TPS, dirty injectors or a vacuum leak. If it is a vacuum leak check your hoses and listen for a hissing sound.

Of all other stupid things it could also be a clogged cat. Happened in my mazda once.
