The Ranger is still the #5 most commonly searched for truck on MSN, they must be doing something halfway right.

Mostly because of their durability. Theres alot of older Rangers still on the road compared to comparable products from GM and Mopar/Chrysler. At least thats how it is around here.
Honestly I think the Ranger would be a much more sought after truck if Ford was smart and actually "updated" it. MSN even said in a nutshell that its not really been updated in forever....just minor changes every so often.
Do something like Toyota did with the Tacoma, give it a supercharger. The "Taco" gets a huge power boost out of that thing.... that'd sure be nice to have in a Ranger and it would make it very competitive with some of the larger trucks.....giving it a very similar peak power output to many trucks twice its size.
Just have to wait and see what actually happens to the Ranger after the plant closes down.

See that! That's what I mean! Like me, there are still some people who are still satisfied with their pick up trucks like the way I do. But I saw Chevrolet Silverado got the number 1 spot on the other survey.
