I have a 1993 2wheel drive. The calipers up front are the kind that have a sliding shaft thing which holds the caliper in place. I replaced the pads but I lost the little clips that were somehow attached to the pads. I think they were depth indicators. Anyhoo....ever since I changed them I hear this jingle sound that is coming from the brakes when I go over rough pavement. If I apply the brakes ; the sound goes away. Is this coming from not having those little clips in place and , if so, where can I purchace them? Thanks

I think those are called "anti-rattle" clips and not having them can cause this problem. I don't know if they can be purchased seperately. Check your autoparts store.

Found clips at Auto Zone.....came in a kit with those slide-thru shaft thingies that hold the calipers in place. Installed them and no mo Jingle Bells until December 25th !!
