I am relatively new to the Ranger scene but I have already seen the light. I grew up in eastern Iowa and currently live in Dubuque , IA where I commute to work close to 100 miles a day as a machinist for Bennett Machine And Fabrication.
I picked my Ranger up for 2700 with 142,000 miles. It has a few "areas of character" from a recent battle with a deer. It does run fairly well and books for more than I paid. It will need front brakes and a tune up soon....
I am mostly interested in modding for a reliable daily driver with decent road manners and off-road capability. As I plan to move out to Colorado in a couple years and enjoy trails and exploration. I also desire a lot of maneuverability in heavy snow.
I hope to learn a few things and share any knowledge I can while I am here.
