What is the clear gel, grease, goo, etc. that is under the fuel sender plug on the wiring harness? This is the big plug that plugs into the top of the fuel tanks and has four electrical contacts. I swapped both my tanks and need to replace the stuff so that my plug contacts don't get corroded.

its just dielectric grease. most parts or electronics stores carry it.

or you can use petroleum jelly if you have some.

Thanks, got some but may need a bigger tube. Had to scrape it all out because dirt fell into it when I unplugged the plugs. :annoyed:
