I am looking to buy a fuel cell and had some questions for you guys.

Most of the ones with senders are 0-90ohms. Will these work on fords or are they for GM products? I have one i would really like to get but it does not have the foam in it. Can you put foam in one? Thanks for the info.

you can put foam in if its the right foam, don't just stick anything in there.

As far as sending units, unfortunately no one makes anything for Fords. The 0-90 ohm is GM. My friend has been searching for a while for his '98 ranger, eventually hes going to get a GM one and have the ohms changed to work.

i just make the ford one you have work.

i cant think of who makes it i think jaz but there is a ford compatible sender for a fuel cell out there i found it before just dont remember exactly who

I'll have to check into this. Thanks

I seen that one in Jegs. Actually a couple different sizes. I've been contemplating buying one but, I don't like those darn plastic tanks. The aluminum ones and the stainless ones are to expensive. Jaz does sell just the senders so, if you find a good used tank with a chevy sender or no sender you can solve the problem.
I've also thought about an aftermarket gas gauge. They sometimes use a chevy sender.
