I have an '87 Bronco II with a 4.0L swap from a '94 explorer; and it just keeps dieing at random. I replaced the fuel filter, fuel line, fuel pressure regulator, and the fuel pump and air throttle control are brand new and working fine. I've done everything aside from paying a mechanic..
It usually stalls if it idles too long, if I coast too far, or if I engage the clutch for an extended period of time. I'm really getting sick of having to start my car in the middle of a turn, and it's turning into a safety hazard. Anybody have any ideas? I'm at the end of my rope and any help will certainly be apperciated.

im not sure about the 4.0 but i had the same exact problem in my 2.3. it was the idle air control valve. like 30 bucks from auto zone
