Just joined today. I have a 1988 Ranger S that used to have a 302/c-4 in it . It now has a 1969 429/c-4 in it instead. When the 302 was installed in 1988 I also installed a narrowed 9" out of a 78 F-150. There are disc brakes on the rearend. I showed the truck around Illinois and Indiana at the street machine nationals shows. When I retired the truck the 302 had a BDS 6-71 Supercharger,2 650 holleys and related support equipment. This truck was bought new in 1988 and had about 150 miles on it when the 302 went in it. I retired the truck from showing in 1996,sold the supercharger and pulled the 302 out. In 1997 I swapped out the 302 for my 429. but stopped working on due to my daughter being born. I finally have some time to work on it again and hopefully I will get it back on the road next year in time for my daughters 16th b-day.
