Anybody interested in headers for a 351W swap. I talked to Dave at Total Performance today about theirs. They are 1 5/8 primary and 3" collector.
long tubes. He said they cost 270.00

Not sure if they work on 4x4's though.

Just thought i would let you guys know.

what's their return policy if they don't fit? I'm willing to try them on a 4x4 but not willing to give up $270. I'm almost done making a set that will fit on a 4x4.

Not sure about their return policy. I will ask them if they have used them on a 4x4.

I'm not worried about them for myself. I have a nice set of equal legnth long tubes that I've been building. I'm just trying to help somebody else that might be working on a 351 swap.

I would be willing to bet the only way they would guarentee them to fit is if you used their mounts.

That's kind of what I figured. That's pretty much how most of the custom headers are, you need to use their mounts as well. At least there is one possible option out there for the people who want to do the swap. I'm still working out a few things on my headers. The pass side is no real problem, tons of room. The driver's side is a mother. The steering shaft is perfectly in the way, then I have to figure a good way to get past my oil pan and driveshaft. I'll get it eventually when I have some time to actually work on it.

That would be cool to make your own. I think i would like to make some fenderwell headers if i were to try it.

What size primarys you making?

Fender exit would definitel be the easy way to go. For some reason I'm trying to keep everything inside the frame. Don't know why I always have to do things the hard way
