So here recently I have been noticing a pretty strong exhaust/fuel smell in the cab of my B2. I can only smell it when I first start the vehicle and when I come to a stoplight. And it's not all the time either. It has a brand new exhaust on it so I have ruled that out. I'm thinking manifold gasket or injector but don't really
know. Any ideas?

Check your fuel system for leaks from the fuel rail to fill tube at the tank.I some times I get a fresh fuel smell from time to time coming from the rail fuel pump area. Also check the fill tube area at the tank.Mine leaked untill I change the body mounts which re aligned the body and it stop.If you have to install exhaust manifold gaskets.I did and that stop having the exhaust gases in the cab.

does it smell like raw fuel, or does it smell like unburnt fuel (rich exhaust)

if it MIGHT be exhaust, fix it now, do not put it off, carbon monoxide is not something to screw around with

It smells more like unburnt fuel. That is why I kinda think I have an injector acting up and staying stuck open. I dont know though. And like I said I dont smell it all the time. Sometimes I smell it when I start up and sometimes I dont. Other times I smell it at stoplights and sometimes I dont. Driving me nuts
