Ac fan problem

When i drive for more than an hr in my 2002 4.0 ranger I will loose the fan completely. When u first turn it on the ac works , fan works but after awhile the ac is still cold but no fan. After a while it will come back on. Any one have any ideas?
 
turn the fan switch on/off fast when the fan quits blowing to see if the switch is bad......try bumping on the blower box under the dash to see if the fan will come back on/or if the fan is under the hood on the firewall--wiggle the electric connector and tap on the fan housing to see if it will run....
