Just signed up looking for some help with my 1993 Ford Ranger XL 3.0 automatic. I thought I got a good deal until the transmission went on it and paid $1200.00 to get it rebuilt
. All in all, it starts all the time and isn't leaking anything. I'm looking to retire in about 8 months and make the truck my project. I have no experince in doing any major stuff, but it should be fun trying. The problem I'm having is that the 3.0 burns gas like a 427
. I'm trying to figure out what needs to be replaced.
I guess you keep on replacing until it works the right way. It still should be a lot of fun.
