starter solenoid wiring

How do the wiring for the starter solenoid goes ? Is it battery positive wire on one end and the other three on the other end and then small plug to "S" on solenoid ? Does the positive wire goes to any end or is there a difference in the posts sizes ?

battery positive on one side along with all of your fusible links. other side is power to starter. small post on the solenoid is the red wire w/ blue stripe.

Yes. Whatever side of the solenoid you have the cable from the battery hooked to, that is the side that you have all of your other power wires tapped into.

The opposite post of the solenoid only goes to the starter.
