I am new to the forum and I am having several issues with my 88 bronco II and if anyone can give me some suggestions i surely appreciate it. I tried to replace my solenoid on my truck and just cant quite remember which wires goes with each other. I have three wires plus the small wire. My fuel pump was working fine before I hit the positive battery wire against the fender wall is it possible that I burned out the relay switch ? And before I switched the solenoid it made a rough noise like clanking noise from the flywheel area. My starter bolts seem to keep loosen it up even after i tighten them. My truck seems to have an rough idle when i come to a stop it idles up and down and when i get off the gas it makes a backfiring noise. Please anyone out there can tell me whats wrong ?? i greatly appreciate the suggestions
