How rare are first gen doors (83-88) with manual windows and wing windows? I've seen probably 200 different first gen rangers and B2's and only seen one pair. Is it possible to make em?

I installed the VENT windows in a pair of genII doors and installed them on my '87. I had to drill holes for the anti-rattle strips on the inside. Gen IIs had the anti-rattle strip on the inner door panel.
I made the passenger side power and used a single switch on the dash. The drivers is manual. Any door can be made either manual or power. The track that fastens to the bottom of the glass is the same. The only difference is the regulator. The regulator from a full door glass will work with the vent windows.

I have elec. wing window doors. I could just get a pair of manual regulators and they'll bolt in? Then I'd just need some interior trim... This is sounding GOOD!

so then all you need is the VENT glass and the corresponding door glass?

Basically.
I cut down my old anti-rattle strips. You can buy them new for the vent windows and that would be the better way to do it.

One problem with this. You have to de-rivet the glass to change the regulator. I would rather just fix the power.
