Hi. Lee Here. I live near Austin and I just got a Ranger today. It's a 1986 extended cab with a 2.9 and automatic. I think I got a good deal on it; I gave the guy 1000 bucks and an old rifle. It seems to be in good shape; a few spots in the paint (not dents, looks like adhesion issues). A dented front driver's side fender, but it looks like a really low-speed dent rather than a crash (no paint damage). It's red with silver on the bottom and red interior. I plan to drop a mild V-8 in it one of these days, but I'll drive it as-is for a while, since my Oldsmobile daily driver is just falling apart on me. I also want to look into putting a long bed on it. I really like this little pickup. I'm glad I found this forum.
