Hello everyone. First I'd like to say thanks to all those that share their knowledge on this site. Thanks a bunch! I bought my first Ranger last weekend. It's an '06 xlt,supercab 2wd, 4cyl. 5spd. It's replacing our much beloved 1980 Dodge D-50 that I bought new and am sad to finally "retire" Yep. Same truck for 32 years. Hope this one lasts as long as our Dodge.

I've managed to put a thousand miles on my new to me truck in the last couple weeks. This truck rides pretty well and is quiet and comfortable. The 2.3l has delivered right at 30mpg for me so far but it won't be winning any hill climbs any time soon.
