How difficult is it to replace the rear window on a ranger?

It's a 2000.

I have a 96 and it is more frustrating then anything. Not too hard but you want an extra set of hands to help. Mine was just help in by the gasket.

Depends on the year and Supercab or Regular cab. In 87 the regular cab is held in with the old gasket style, pry it out and replace without much hassle.

The Supercab is a pita because it is held in with little washer/nuts from the inside and has a sealant between the window and the body. You have to remove a bunch of interior trim pieces to get at the bolts and then you have to clean all the old sealant out etc.

In 2000 its bolted in no matter what style the cab is..just take off the nuts and push the window out, it does have a sealer so you gotta use some muscle.

So you have to remove some of the paneling from the inside?
