hello, i am in the process of installing a 302 in my ranger, i am useing a mechanical pump and i would like some feedback on removing alot of the wireing harness or what year i can find one (wire harness) that will fit , i just need a basic harness or where you can guide me to in purchasing a harness thank you steve
 
Hey Steve, welcome to The Ranger Station!

Your question is a little unclear. Could you clarify exactly what you're looking for? It looks to me like you're asking "Where can I find another wiring harness for a 1993 Ranger?" but I really don't know.
Editing your question will do a world of good because it's a little garbled into a big runon sentence, I guarantee we'll all jump in but we need to know exactly what you're asking. There's quite a few of our posters who have done the V8 swap.

Most doing that year swap use a '93' Mustang engine harness and splice into the Ranger harness. Having the correct wiring diagrams is a must. Try more questions in the V-8 swap section after looking at the swap info up in the tech library.
