for graduation last year my dad bought me a pioneer 3300 but it only has 2 outputs. im going to use splitters to break it into the 4 chan setup. thats all fine an dandy. for now i have a 8" 200w audiovox tube. im going to share the inputs for the tube with inputs for the rear speakers for now to give it a little more kick.

now here's what im wondering. i might be getting a 10" sub to replace the tube. would i be able to split the signal before the amp again and run that to a mono amp or would that cause the signal to weaken too much

like this. (sorry for the crude drawing)

the picture should say 1400w but you get the picture

You sure the amp doesn't have a "pass-through" output on it to hook up the sub amp? Most 4 channel amps do. If it does you would just split the signal once and run the two pairs of wires to the 4 channel amp. Then run another pair from the 4 channel amp to the mono amp.

ill look. if it doesnt though do you think there would be any side effects to splitting the signal again?

No pass through. I forgot how big that sucker was till I opened the box. I can't wait to hookerup
