I've looked at the pics in the library and mine looks like 2 different ones, the Mazda and the Mitsubishi. The code on the unit says Ford F07A, LA, A24?37. Please, any help will be useful.

It can't look like both of them, they bear very little resemblance below the shifter.
The Mazda has a one-piece case with a rounded bottom.
The Mistubishi trans has a flat pan with a giant drain bolt on the bottom of oit.

Yea, it has a big drain plug. The next question is: Is the plug hanging on the drivers side for the reverse lights?
