its probably the starter but for the hell of it you could try using a screwdriver or something on the starter soleniod to give the starter full voltage by bypassing the soleniod.

This is a cranking problem, not an ignition problem.

Hmmm. I think the most likely cause is the MAF sensor.

It helps to have someone help you with this, but I would take a volt meter and measure the voltage after the starter solenoid to verify that it's the starter and not something else (with the key on 'Start'). I would say that the starter is probably shot, but you never know.

A worn out starter will pull excessive voltage when trying to start. When the motor is warm the starter also gets hot and with the two of those things working together it could cause that.
