Hello everyone this is my first post here.

I’ve removed my Transmission to do a complete replacement of my clutch because the slave blew out.

I'm through with putting my transmission in but I can't remember where that "D" connector plug wire goes could you help me with a location, I must be blind.

Thanks in advance,
Johnny

there is only 1 plug on M50D-R1 transmission......so it will be the only plug on the transmission...

pics help too...

actually no.......it is up closer to the shifter.....it is for the reverse lights.......

being his is a '96, the plug on the tail housing is for the speedometer.....

I just went out and took some pics but I don't know how to attach them could you help me with this?
Thanks
Johnny

Thanks for your reply but I'm still confused at where to plug it in. I do know I unpluged it, just can't remember where.

it should be on the drivers side of the transmission, it will be up towards the top of the transmission behind where the shifter would be, mine is broke on my transmission but i can get a pic for you after i get home from work

I really would appreciate a picture, you I'm thinking maybe I broke mine off when moving the trans around while cleaning.
Thanks in advance,
Johnny

johnny, sorry i could not get a pic for you, camera would not work for me but i did look at my tranny and it it up around the top of the tranny just in front of where the shifter is on the drivers side, if you feel around up there you should be able to find the plug

90rangersuper,
I just went to autozone and got a new VSS (VEHICLE SPEED SENSOR) mine was broken where the connector hooks up.

THATS THE SWITCH AND CONNECTOR IN PICS 1 AND 3.

I need to be more carEful in the future.

Thanks a lot for the help,
Johnny

I took some pictures showing my clutch master cylinder with the wheel well removed and some showing the reverse light switch and my new VSS (VEHICLE SPEED SENSOR) switch.

Hope they help someone else in the future.
