My credo
Toonces drives a Ranger . . . . just not very well.
Try going to any place that sells fabric. Any fabric can be used for recovering a headliner, though some work better then others. In this case, just look for the pattern you want, and look for a more "fuzzy" kind of fabric, like a felt, as it produces the best finished results. A lot of Camo patterns can be easily found in a lot of stores these days.

I did my headliner with fabric from Walmart and it turned out great. Some stores have a fabric department and some won't though. I just have to to say one thing, know what you want and get out. I felt really awkward walking around choosing fabric. ;brownbag; The spray glue that I used at first was from Lowes was in a red can with 78 written on it I think. It started to sag after a while. Then I used what was in a green can with 88 on it and it was alot stronger.

You want something like a fleece material and one of the better adhesives is 3M Super 90, have to be over 18 to buy it though . . .

no. that fabric that s from the factory is REALLY REALLY THIN! so you can just spray your adhesive right over that. works fine

My fabric is mossy oak from JoAnn Fabric. This is on my 1979 f150 but I also did it on my ranger and they're both real easy to do. I used a whole can of glue though but it works out great.
