is the front end the same on an 2wd and 4wd?

I have an 86 B2 4wd and i have an 85 ford ranger 2wd. Well my B2 i bought from a guy that said it was never drove up north and that it was only driven here in Charleston, SC. Well i got under the front end when i was flushing the radiator and the front end is all rusted out so now i know he was lieing. Well i have an 85 ranger and was curious if i could just swap tge front ends? I know i have to use my 4wd axle and everything but i need to change the front end of the frame and all the center mounts and radiator supports can i do this thanks

All the sheetmetal should swap over and if you are planning on sectioning the frame rails to do this repair, have fun and good luck!
