My truck is a 94 extended cab 4.0 5speed trans. For awhile now from time to time Id climb a hill and sometimes it would miss fire. Lately it was starting to miss a little in the morning, I changed the plugs and it idles good now but now until it gets good and warm it misses real bad, then it runs pretty good with only a miss once in a while, cleaned the mass sensor, between pay days not easy to throw money at it, honest trouble shooting would be good!!! Any Ideas???:icon_confused:
 
Well, if the truck is missing I'd go back to the last place you knew you had it and go from there.






Check your fuel pressure as you shut it off and see how fast it bleeds off once the key is off. Then see how fast it comes back up when the key is turned on for the first time in the morning.
 
I want you know I haven,t lost a car or truck since my early teens, It envolved a lovely red haired green eyed girl, and liquid of sorts, it only took three days to find it and it was only three towns away, keys in it, full of gas, to this day I don,t have a clue!!!!! And thanks I will check the fuel pressure:yahoo:
 
Dude!! Where's my truck!!!! lol. Also, when was the last time the fuel filter was changed?
 
Thanks I changed the fuel filter this past fall. The other night i tried soumething i haven,t done in years, after dark i took a spray misting bottle of water, openned the hood started the truck and sprayed water around the plug wires and coil pack, and it was a pretty neat light show, although the plug wires looked perfect every one was leaking to some point, some pretty bad, for now I repositioned the wires, for now and 80 percent of the problem is gone, can live with that until payday!!!!:icon_hornsup::yahoo:
