OK EVERYONE:

During the last banner event, there was a lot of interest from our Canadian Members to help with the banner.

The Banner is going to need a way out of Alaska. The only person between Anchorage Alaska and Sasquatch_Ryda and MrRangerSir is MountainMike.

Take a look at the map:

We have some huge distance to cover getting this banner out of Canada. Lima Bean has suggested shipping it FedEx, but I think that really takes away from the whole challenge/adventure of it.

It would cost them over $600 in fuel to fly it out, and Alaska is the only place I've given the green light to fly it. People use planes in Alaska like we use cars do to the remoteness of the area.

It looks like transporting the banner to meet MountainMike is a 600 mile trip.

We need some ideas, and more volunteers.

We need to pull together and get this worked out.

As a last resort...I'd be willing to send some $ to any fund that YOU would set up on TRS....the more-members that participate...the easier it would be on everyone's wallets.....can you put a map link on the forum page like you did on the 1st Banner map?

So how does someone get on the map? I followed the link a few posts back but I don't see where or how to add my name and location on that map.

FWIW: I'm right near Butte, MT. My Dad lives in Pueblo CO so I would pass pretty close by to 1988dangerranger. That's if I had an excuse to go down to visit him (hint hint).
