will a 86 carpet kit fit a 94

Theres a person on C/L that has a brand new never installed kit for a 86 std cab Ranger & its grey, which is what im wanting ,but my Ranger is a std cab 94. Anyone know if it will fit or is it going to be smaller?

You *should* be ok. Rangers didn't get a bigger cab until 98.

thats what I was thinking ,but when I checked part #s for the 2 different yrs they were different,thought they should at least of been the same.

The floorplans are the same, as far as I know, EXCEPT '93 and after had a formed 3-4" hump welded in across the floor at the front of the seat* (at least in the xtra cabs). Will probably prevent your earlier carpet from lying in nicely.

*the seats (front bolts) and console bolt to this hump, which is why the '93 and newer seat tracks fit different than the older ones. I fitted explorer/93 ranger seats into my '91 SC by 'stealing' the hump from a '93 ranger cab and welding it onto my floor
