Finally got the wheels back on ground and drove it 'round town. Feels fine so, I guess my first clutch job on a Ford truck in 40 yrs is OK. Brakes are OK too. Speedo cable isnt seated. The brake warning lights are on , so is the ABS and I have jumped out the clutch switches. The gas pump stopped at 75$ and I hope that that pretty much filled the tank. Truck is gonna need steering box help and a CSB for the rear shaft. I need a few lugnuts and a spare tire . and a radio The job took waaaay longer than anticipated and cost waaaay more than I had figured on. . But, I have a runner that will be a big help around the house. Kinda nice to be rowing a stick shift again too. :D

Dude, I just gassed up the Ranger Friday. It was $3.79 a gallon. What are you paying for gas up there??

Cheapest regular downtown was 3,79. Shell was 3.89, Hess, 3,83. The traffic is such , that what determines which gas station depends on where I'm headed. I didnt expect such a big tank. I kept looking for a leak. :D

Good to be back in the truk again!
My '89 xlt holds 15.9 gallons....I can prove it by the fried lectric fuel pump....

(no more running on E for 75 miles :annoyed:)

Hell I am lucky to actually drive my truck now. My gf has been driving my truck and she is loving every minute of it. Glad to see my hard work is enjoyed me and my gf.

Trucks are a lot work but tons of fun. Glad to see you are enjoying the fruits of your labor.
