Ok Gents,
I posted something on this in GD and can't find that thread so, here's a new one. My buddy Rex at work has a 1960 F100. He got a Perkins diesel he's going to put in it. That goes along with a Crown Vic crossmember/front end, rack and pinion in the front and a Lincoln Mark VIII IRS rear end. I'll find some pics of the original truck and post them, but here's some of the new parts:

Rear end - it's an 8.8:

All of the components just bolted on the F100 frame!!! Here's the new transmission cross member:

And general shots of the mock-up. Don't be hating on him about the washers - they're just there to see how things fit:

That's an interesting build to be sure!

I'd be beefing up those frame rails a bit...
