I am wanting to get a good sounding exhaust for my B2. I want something with a nice growl... Many people have been telling me the Original 40 Series Flowmaster was the way to go but I figured id open it up to a few more opinions... for tips i was thinking about doing a 3.5 inch slash cut dual exhaust and 45 degree it out the back...

Here's my exhaust. It's a magnaflow "high flow" cat with a thrush turbo muffler. Pipe goes under the frame and dumps out the side in front of the rear tire. I made my own flange to bolt to the y pipe, so everything from the y back is 2.5".

And here it is while I was working on it, nothing but the y pipe, just because I wanted to hear what it sounded like.

I'm running dick for exhaust on my Ranger. Pacesetter headers and Y-pipe, factory cat and intermediate pipe and a dump out the side at the rear of the cab. Sounds screwy cold, but once it gets warmed up it has a nice deep throb to it.

my favorite muffler is a spin tech. i took a pair of used ones from my sprint car and put them behind a set of headers and 3" pipes, sounded great! of course it was a V-8. should be similar on a V-6, but i recommend keeping single exhaust so you dont lose your low end torque
