Rear main seal doesnt appear to leak, R+R anyway?

My credo
to prevent Found On the Road Dead, Fix Or Repair Daily
94 Ranger xlt 4.0 5spd. 4x4. Also since the trans is out and the flywheel is off, is there anything on the top rear of the engine I should be checking? The whole back of the engine is oily , so I'm guessing it is leaking up high.

Um, yeah. If it starts leaking you gotta rip it all apart again.
 
and use some silicone sealer on the yoke splines....or youell get to do it again anyway cause the NUT will leak....waaaahahahahaaa....:icon_bounceblue:

DG, I think you are on the wrong assembly. Sounds like you are talking about a pinion seal man.

ooooooooooooooooooooops.....it was the rear & was a main seal.......that was close enuff for my meds to take a stab at it....


adsm_.....................keep an eye on me......naaaaaa.....both eyes!
