so i broke my shifter and got a new one from the junk yard. dropped the steering whel and replaced it but now its got a "rough" shift and wont shift into park or my low gears. all it can do is reverse neutral and drive. is there something i did wrong? could my cable have stretched? it is literally about 1/4 inch away from pushing the lever into park. i just dont know what to do without taking it all apart and re doing it. any advice would be great.
