So I got the bolts out of all the old body mounts no problem. But now the stupid nut with the washer and sleeve attached wont come out. I've tried banging it out from the top but its not budging no matter how hard I hit and no matter what I yell at it. How do you get that stupid sleeve out so I can get the old mounts off?

The sleeves usually rust themselves to the bolt making them one inseparable mass. I cut mine into pieces and then made new parts. If rust is so damned strong, why did my truck fall apart?.

The bolt came out no problem for me. It's the nut with the welded on washer that's stuck. That's what the sleeve is connected to right? Does the sleeve go all the way through the top and bottom mount?

If I were to cut it, do i cut it right about the nut/washer assembly and just leave the sleeve?

Put the bolt back in from the bottom just far enough that it covers the threads. Get a long punch, put it in from the top, and whack it with a hammer real hard.

If you put the bolt it too far, it will not work, since the thread will block the compression of the sleeve that is needed to get the pieces apart.

yeah thats why ive been trying to do. They just wont budge.
