the 7.5 finally gave up on me!!!

wow today was an expensive day haha. today i broke a limiter strap mount, dented the resonater,broke the muffler mount, lost the muffler cause it got ripped out, and to top it off i blew up the stupid weak 7.5 rear axle. haha i guess the 7.5 isnt made for goin 60mph through a crazy ass wash though. so i guess im going to upgrade to an 8.8 with 4.88 gears within the next week or two. and get another 25 dollar turbo muffler haha
 
What broke on the 7.5? I recommend a flowmaster 44 for sound and durability. The flow 44 is thick and pretty tough. Assuming you don't completely lose it, it pays for itself in durability, as far as I am concerned.
 
i shattered the spider gears and took a couple small chuncks outta the ring gear haha. and no on the flowmaster cause im jus gonna end up loosing it again haha
 
I understand on the muffler. I have lost mine once, and had to reconnect it to the exhaust system 4 times so far, though 3 of those were due to deliberate backfires. There is likely someone here that knows what went first on the 7.5 and why, but I imagine most, if not all, will agree that killing your 7.5 as you have is a good excuse to go 8.8.

haha i started smiling as soon as i knew that i killed the 7.5 cause i new i HAD TO GET A NEW AXLE and the 8.8 will prevent me from breaking it again :D
