ok i have to 4 banger that i am gonna drop a 302 in and another tranny..now the question is i want to convert it to 4x4..what do i need to do..

2x4

take a look around the forums. theres atleast a couple stickies about this topic, its been covered time and time again.

There is no easy way to do this on a ranger period. The fact that you have a ranger newer than 1997 makes it dang near impossible.

Your best bet would be a solid axle swap since your putting in a bigger motor also.
