I could have cried this morning (my friend actually did haha). I'm sitting in my zero hour class and I get the text. March 4, 2008, the day that will live in infamy. I was so disappointed, especially how they finished this last season, got to the NFC Championship game. I'm also really upset because next year my Dad and I were going to go to Lambeau....now I guess we'll be seeing Aaron Rodgers, who I personally thing is going to be a great QB once he gets some experience. Still won't be the same though....

I have to agree. I've never been a Packers fan, but Brett Favre has my utmost respect. I love the fact that he truly loved the game. I don't think his record for the number of consecutive games by a quarterback will fall in my lifetime, maybe ever. I feel privileged to have watched his entire career.
I've been a Bears fan since Ditka was a player though, even when they sucked.

Being a Vikings fan it's required that I dislike the Packers. But Brett has always been a class act and a meat a potato kind of player. He has never been flashy, arrogant or self absorbed. He'll be missed. He should have played for a better team than the pack ( sorry, Viking blood showing through ).
