How to use this site?

OK, so I'm not great with computers, but I LOVE this site!! It's about time I ask(I haven't found it on my own).. how do I keep tabs on posts I've made, adn posts I've contributed to? Right now I 'bookmark' or remember titles- not the most efficient. Share with me PLEASE!!!

first, welcome!

second...
i use the USER CP button... keeps a list of all active threads i've posted in. if you click on USER CP you see all threads you're subscribed to.. if you post in a thread or you started the thread then you're automatically subscribed to it. hope that helps!

third....
extra info, instead of looking thru all the different forum topics (b2 specific, interior, lighting...all that stuff). i just use the NEW POSTS button and look over the newest threads/posts going on.

Thanks for helping me out! So OK, I tried 'user CP' and it says that I have no subscribed threads? 'preciate your walking me through this!

OK, so duh... I decided to hover over some of the icons and found the 'subscribe' one- then I have to do that for everyone that I'm intereseted in? I can handle that. Thanks again!

At the top of the thread on the right side, there is a blue bar. At the left side of the blue bar is a button "thread tools'. click on that and at the bottom of the drop down list is the option; subscribe. click on that and it gives you several choices.

i've NEVER clicked that... i always thought that posting in a thread automatically subscribed you to it...?

I get subscribed automatically on some other sites, not here. I think I may have done that a few years ago in my CP because I was getting too many e-mail notifications.

i turned off my e-mail notifications also... so that's not an issue. :icon_confused:
