Fix it till its broke!
Ok so, not too long ago my heater control valve went out and after I replaced it. Now I don't see any coolant leaks anywhere and the truck runs fine, no signs of engine damage or anything but I do have to top it off every so often, ie a gallon of coolant has lasted me a few months from just topping off a cup here a quart there every month or so. The only thing I've noticed abnormal is that when i run the heater I do smell sweet like antifreeze. :icon_confused:

Before I go ripping into the dash/heater core is there any tips where to look or just general troubleshooting to avoid ripping everything apart? :dunno:

No one can chime in?

Any hose clamps that need tightening? JW. Or, clean out heater core and try liquid solder, let dry and check for leaks. Doesn't sound like a huge leak, but it's starting...

Yah , First thing I would look at is the stuff I just worked on. I dont know much, but I do know I have a mind like a sieve. :icon_thumby:
