Im new to this forum, ive had a 90 ranger since 2000, bought it completely stock and for the last 10 years its had a 306 with trickflow aluminum heads, TFS stage 2 cam annnnnnnnnd way to many after market parts to list. Its murdered out with 20s out back and 18s up front. I recently bought an 88 ranger prerunner. Ordered Giants 64" leaf spring kit along with his "bloody link killer" shocks, and Camburgs heim joint radius arms. I now live about 20 minutes away from the track that the "Traxxas Torc Series" races on here in central TX, tis the reason for me wanting a prerunner. Im actually from the Rio Grande Valley which is where South Padre Island is, so i'll be playing in the sand every chance i get. Check out the pics of my project in my profile. :headbang:

I checked out your profile and looked at the 90...did you have much difficulty putting in that dash?

I was contemplating upgrading mine if I ever go with FI...but for now I like the carb and the old style dash...

it wasnt to bad, i was hoping the a/c system(box behind dash) would be the same but its not. I left the 88 a/c box in for defrost and heater. As far as bolting up only 2 screws up on top by windshield line up, and i have the 90 steering column but need to do more mods to the firewall to make it work.
