I recently traded in my 03 XL 7' bed for a 96 2300. A lot of people think I'm nuts for doing so, but I missed shifting gears and wanted something more efficient. all in all, I'm happy with my decision.

welcome back.lol if it's the truck in your avatar looks like a decent truck sometimes ya just gotta do what ya gotta do as long as your happy with your choice who cares..

lets see some pics of the mazda!

I know the Limas are no powerhouse, but neither is a 3.0 really, but both were sure built to last!

thats exactly what my '95 looked like!

Had a few snafus but noting major, I had to replace the water outlet (the heater core pipe was so corroded that it rusted through). 2nd one, I was pissed when i found it: at some point, the pass side leaf spring shackle broke off and busted through the bed!! I found out instead of swapping beds, that I can just cut out a piece of bed from another truck and have it welded in.
